Fuji Express - Gallipolis

The restaurant has a dark and quiet, relaxing atmosphere with friendly service. The prices seem reasonable, especially with their 3-roll lunch special. The portions are large, particularly the steak teriyaki noodles. My partner and I enjoy getting 3 sushi rolls and 1 steak teriyaki noodle dish to share, and we often have leftovers to take home. This will be our new favorite spot for quick lunches.

Wow, the eel bowl at this restaurant was truly exceptional. I have tried eel at upscale restaurants in major cities, but this place had the best tasting eel and the most generous portion. And all at half the price of a fancy city restaurant. I also tried the salad with seaweed, which was good. The atmosphere may be lacking, but if great food is your priority, this is the place to go.

The portion size of the noodle bowl was generous, affordable, and delicious! The seaweed salad had cucumber added to it and was also tasty. My only complaint was the atmosphere. With all the blinds closed and a complete lack of decoration, it made me feel claustrophobic. From the outside, it looked like the restaurant was closed. With the quality of the food, if they focused on improving the ambiance with some Japanese paintings or photos on the walls and a friendlier waiter, they could easily charge double the price!

I ordered the california roll today and it was the worst tasting sushi I ever had. I couldn't even eat it. not sure whether something is wrong with the rice or whether it is so salty in general. will not be back for sushi.

The service was a bit slow, but it was also probably busier than normal due to people visiting the town to see the Christmas lights. The food was really good. I especially like the white meat general tso's chicken which had a nice sauce which was different from the typical sauces and not too heavy. I would choose this over that offered by most typical Chinese places.
