I don't think under 21 is allowed in this area, only one section of the three places is designated kid friendly and this was not it. The wings were great and the drinks were okay. Get there early to beat the rush or your doomed to wander around looking for a parking spot, then a place to eat and sit. Wait, wait, wait is what happens when you come here during the busy hours.
Sat over in this area for a few drinks after we were done at the Rum Shack. This place is fun too! They have grass seats, chair swings, high tops along the sides so you can look out at the ocean! The vibe here is a little more upbeat, louder music and has a little more pep than Rum Shack! We tried their seafood stuffed jalapenos, they were pretty tasty, they fell apart super easy, but nice and spicy, definitely something different to try. The staff here was also fun and friendly, a lot of different choices when it comes to drinks. Think more tropical and mason jar! :
Went with my bestie on a spontaneous day trip from Houston. Never been treated so rudely. Not one time did either of two ladies manning the bar take our drink order [we were there for hours]. It got to the point where we had to ask the guys next to us to place our order. Word of advice for the pretty blonde with the bad attitude and her cumbrous sidekick--get over yourselves.
Well, the place (and all of the other bars that make the Spot) are super Galveston, that's for sure. Crowded tourist trap with blah, expensive drinks and a very club atmosphere. As a couple in our late 20s, I felt like we were way younger than the rest of the crowd as well. Had one drink and moved on to Beerfoot, which is way more us.
Not good. Service is very unprofessional. Food did not come as ordered. Calamari was soggy. Very disappointed. Enter at your own risk.
