A TRANQUIL RETREAT What to know before dining at Dillisk It was our last night in Galway, and with having to pack, we lacked the energy to venture out into the commotion of the street life. So a quiet night at Dillisk it was. The four of us opted for light fare. Know that the vegetable soup is creamy, not broth based, with puréed broccoli I think. Sadly, the spinach and orange salad was uninspired. No dressing. Just baby spinach leaves, tangerine wedges, and crumbled feta in a cup. On the other hand, the chicken pie with bleu cheese from the previous night’s dinner (see photo) was a brilliant nouveau interpretation of the traditional Irish dish! Lastly, the menu offers a nice selection of Irish whiskies including hard to find Roe Co. They appeared to be understaffed with just one server who was on break when it was time to check out. But the barman covered nicely for him. All in all, a relaxing last evening in Galway. We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional and delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous spot to grab an informal bite to eat with friends. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and exceptional. I would like to commend two employees who went out of their way to make our dinner, drinks and dessert a memorable experience. Precious and Ben gave us friendly and efficient service and we had a great time. Thank you Precious and Ben. I highly recommend Dillisk on the Docks.

We were here for Sunday lunch and I would highly recommend it.The staff were very friendly.I visited with three kids and they also loved it.Food was delicious.Will be back.
