I kept my review of the restaurant separate from my review of the hotel as they were two totally different experiences.The food was delicious, the wine list was not expensive and they had a great choice of wine.The seafood platter was very tasty.I would recommend eating here

I chose to write separate reviews for the restaurant and the hotel because they provided two completely different experiences. The food at the restaurant was excellent, with a reasonably priced wine list and a great selection to choose from. The seafood platter was particularly delicious, and I would definitely recommend dining here.

Last night, my husband and I had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The quality and presentation of all our dishes were fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We both ordered fish dishes for our main course, and the flavor and presentation were exceptional. This was the best meal I've had in a long time. I highly recommend dining here if you have the opportunity.

My husband son and granddaughter ate here and we had a really enjoyable evening. The food was very good, especially the scallops with black pudding. The desserts too were delicious-very hard to choose what to have. The hotel has been changed around since we last...ate here, what was the restaurant is now the bar, where you can also eat food (same menu I believe) and I thought it worked really well, it had a nice atmosphere the night we went in. The staff are always polite but also have a bit of personality to them, which I like.

Very cosy comfortable hotel, lots of board gamed in the bar. The decor in the restaurant is very nice and inviting. The menu choice is very good, food was very tasty. The staff are superb, friendly and took time with everyone. We did not stay...in the hotel but i do look forward to returning for a stay.
