Maybe we came in with high expectations with the Michelin mentions/accolades, but the food was just OK (roughly 90 euros per person). Not dish was terrible, but for the cost we were pretty disappointed with it. Not upset as we had a lovely evening by candlelight with lovely folks in a lovely space. Left full and happy, the food was just not anything at all to write home about.
The live jazz was great! Food was decent, but not spectacular for the price IMO. Bruschetta was excellent. That was honestly better than our mains (gnocchi and pappardelle).
We are here on our last night in Ireland before heading back to the states. It was the perfect way to spend our last meal! Our waitress was fantastic and meal was even better! Couldn’t beat that view from the best table in house : recommend reservations as it fully books out. There was a jazz band in there while there on a Sunday night not sure if every night or special days but was the cherry on top for ambiance!
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad he did, it was by far the best meal of our weekend in Galway. A an amazing location with a lovely ambiance and great service. The food was really delicious, we all had pasta dishes and you could tell immediately it was all authentic and homemade. I can’t say enough good things about this place, if your in the city or close to it you need to eat here!!
I had mixed and matched from the menus and had a wonderful dinner experience as the live jazz was playing that evening. It is towards the higher price point however, and there are other superb options for Italian cuisine in Galway.
