This is a traditional, bustling establishment that provided everything that we expected from an Irish pub. It was atmospheric with a lovely friendly vibe. All the staff that looked after us had the time to make us feel welcome even though on the two evenings we visited they were busy. A happy, contented staff that smile is always a plus. And of course the food was superb. I’d recommend getting there early(ish) to avoid disappointment (we were there just on 7pm each evening). Murty Rabbitts is a place we hope to visit again when we return to the fantastic island of Ireland and a buzzing Galway City.
The lamb stew was great, the roasted chicken was ok. Music started at 8pm on a Wednesday night. The waiter (the boss? was very pleasant!
Looking for a convenient place to pop in for a quiet drink (in Ireland?? and something to eat. Seriously the best fish pie I have ever had with a delicious salad too. My husband had cottage pie with a great assortment of vegetables with it. We both felt we had to finish the meals, they were too yummy and so we tried very hard not to leave anything! The service was great too!
We had great food and drink here. The disappointment was that they didn’t have our reservation that we had called and made a few weeks ahead. There were 6 of us and we were then seated in the bar area. Good fish and chips . Great cottage pie. Great daiquiris.
