But the head chef gave us a little taster of there desert to tide us over and he knew we were hungry and upset .this desert was unbelievable and would definitely recommend. This restaurant is very cosy and authentic . We will infact be going back for the desert and the experience as the staff were very friendly and welcoming
Oh wow it was sooo good. I opted for the omakase , it's a full course Japanese dinner and I'm so glad that I went in hungry and the food is so amazing. Kudos to the chef . My favorite are the surf clams, periwinkle, oysters with a twist, squid , pickled mackerel , organic salmon belly, cured tuna has strong but memorable flavour. And the miso soup is so unique and delicious. oh , I had more than 1 dessert. Highly recommended experience. Please try this if you like authentic Japanese food...like the real deal I mean I had more than 1 dessert, every one of them is class.
An authentic Japanese. Sushis made at the counter with a welcoming chef. Thank you for this successful experience.
Can't say enough good things about WA Sushi. We put our trust in the chef and ordered the Omakase Chef's Tasting Menu. Chef Patrick Phillips @paddyfilipino) prepared a stunning menu of masterfully crafted dishes. The torched salmon belly melted in our mouths and the sake ice cream and mousse dessert was both indulgent and refreshing. The interior was small and intimate and the staff were very attentive. The chef himself brought the nigiri platter to our table and was happy to explain the do's and maybe don't's of enjoying the carefully prepared fish. If you're ever in Galway and craving something a little different, treat yourself to WA Sushi.
Always great sushi, but worth to try eveything on the menu, cannot go wrong. If business is slow and availabe try the tasting menu, won't be disappointed.
