Restaurant Pizzeria Tourist - Gampel

Wir sind spät Abends spontan reingegangen, auf der Durchreise nach Zermatt. Trotz dieser späten Stunde durften wir noch Essen bestellen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Nach etwas langer Wartezeit konnten wir die she leckeren Pizzas geniessen! Sie waren gross und sehr gut gebacken.Wir werden dieses Lokal sicherlich wieder ins Auge fassen, wenn wir wieder einen Halt im Wallis machen!

If you are traveling by car and have time for a bite before you get to your mountain destination, you have to stop here. We were on our way to Zermatt from Solothurn. We had just gotten off the Bahnhoff(railway) and wanted lunch. This place was right on the Bahnhoffsrasse. We were greeted by a friendly server who quickly took care of us. The amazing smell from the kitchen and a glimpse at the pizza oven told me exactly what to order. My husband, his father and I each ordered a small (Klein). I watched the pies go into the oven not noticing the size! When we got our orders we were shocked by the size. One small would have been enough for two. The same was true for my mother-in-law's spaghetti plate. Oh, and don't let me forget to tell you how delicious it was and with a perfect crispy crust. We were all satisfied and I even took the rest of mine to go!

Sehr feine Pizza, Salatvorspeisen auch. Auch viele lokale Leute im Restaurant. Keine üppige Karte erwarten.

Delicious pizza, especially the diavolo. Highly recommend trying it out.
