The chefs at The Bombay Canteen have the desired skills to tickle your taste buds just the right way. Visited with a couple of friends and left the ordering to the staff. We had prawns with pav, pork rib taco, palak patta chat followed by a fish preparation with rice and steamed parotta with mutton and for dessert it was the coffee rasgulla (pics appended for all). Must visit.
Bombay Canteen never disappoints. You don't even need friends to go here. Chances are, if you're going again, you're already friends with one of the servers/bartenders. Try their new Schezwan Triple Rice with a sea food twist.
Nice ambience. Good effort at creating interesting new Indian food. Cocktails were interesting too. I think given all this the restaurant is a bit too pricey. More like 3.5 stars.
I went here when my chef friend recommended the restaurant to me on a trip to Mumbai. I had one of my best, most memorable meals in India here. The service is flawless as well as the ambience. Definitely try the eggs Kejriwal and let your server recommend the other Iran from the seasonal menu.<br/
