I have to get back to that. everything I picked was excellent. the chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting was incredibly good and I could still be in a diabetic coma. but I love every minute of it. also the blueberry pancakes, lemon muffin and chocolate chip cookies were winners! I'm not a fan of Haferflos cookies. but I would go away for this! They are the perfect taste, consistency, dense, sweet...literal the perfect oatmeal cookie. I want one now. I assume that caroline was one of the people behind the counter and it helped another person. super friendly! there are a few seating areas that are spaced apart in each corner. So, they can go to a roasted bagel with cream cheese and a cup of coffee if they want. by the way, the bagels are brought fresh from a bagel shop in glens if; caroline makes/bake all the sweet things. they also work with another sweetie in the opposite and carry some of their novelties such as cake pots and hot chocolate bombs. I'll be back!
My first visit was what I expected. A local bakery specializing in pies and a little bit of everything. Frosted cutout cookie was most enjoyable.
Best kept secret in the area- everything is amazing!
Home made baked goods that remind me of my grandmother. The pies are the best around but I also like everything else... cake, cookies, quiche, bread, jams. The cinnamon rolls are fantastic. They also sell items from a few local businesses, i.e., Spoonful of Sugar, hot fudge, maple syrup art.
We visited for the first time today and sampled the cheese danish. It was the best danish I've ever had! My husband shares the same opinion, and he's quite discerning when it comes to cheese danishes. We're looking forward to trying the cupcakes we picked for dessert!
