Heating off and freezing cold. We sit at a table with a gas stove next to it. The two sitting next to the stove have one side hot and the other cold. The other two are freezing. Despite this we stay to try the other specialties. It's not easy to find something open mid-week in December in Brussels. Chicken korma, lamb madras, prawns in masala sauce and vegetables in biriani sauce. It was probably too much to expect for a weekday evening. Four different orders for a single table. The waitress should have warned us instead... after waiting in the cold for a good 45 minutes the dishes arrived. The sauces were flavorless, runny and sweet instead of creamy and full of spices. The vegetables in biriani sauce tasted like they were boiled. A real disaster. The bill instead was that of the holidays. Never again.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years, but recently experienced a drastic change in service. Despite arriving at 6:00 p.m., our starter dishes were not served until 7:30 p.m. and our main dishes were not served until 9:00 p.m. To our surprise, the boss was alone in the kitchen with no other cooks, causing chaos in the full restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food suffered greatly, with tasteless dishes such as a bland vegetable curry, non-spicy Vindaloo, and flavorless grilled meat. Despite the disappointing experience, the bill totaled 134 euros with no apologies or compensation offered. It was a true letdown and a shame that reservations were still being accepted in such a chaotic situation.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The waitress was particularly patient with my grandfather and his dietary restrictions. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If the cuisine everywhere in India is as disgusting as at the Tandoori Mixed Grill, there is nothing surprising, then, that the gurus and fakirs only grate once a day!
