El Greco - Garching bei München

Had lamb with fried potatoes oven, not grill. It wasn't all that tender a bit tough. Also, wasn't that cheap: €16; although maybe the fact that £1 €1.10, compared with £1 €1.30 3.5yrs ago biases me! Back to the food quality: not really any better than I could cook for myself, buying a nice piece of meat from the supermarket. Overall it was alright, but just a little disappointed. Service was very friendly though; just a shame that the food wasn't a little nicer!

Service is a typical German one, a bit slow.. unfortunately no English menu, so I had to Google Translate my way through the menu. Prices wise, I believe they're reasonable, comparing to my country, that's half the price. Ordered a grilles octopus for starter and lamb chops for main. Let me tell you that, this food, is super fresh and tasty. The portions were big and satisfying, and the taste was just great. Ordered a wheat beer from the barrel, it was one of the best that I have drank. All in all, it came up to almost 40 euros. 2 dishes, 1 beer, 1 0.4l mineral water. And... They gave me a shot of Ouzo which was very good too. Note to the restaurant you should make an English menu, because your waiters doesn't understand much.. I will come back next time when I'm in Munich or Garching.

Wonderful service and very tasty food. I had the Pulpi for an appetizer which was perfectly done (a difficult task) and grilled whole calamari (excellent). My sons had grape leaves (as good as he's had in Greece) and the grill platter (loved it). Definitely worth your attention when in Garching.

Best Greek restaurant ever!! Are very satisfied with eating and also the staff is totally friendly, as is the boss. Only recommended

It's very good. The food tastes very good. Price is also very good. Staff to happen polite and very nice
