Painter's Homemade Ice Cream

The ice cream here is incredible! The staff is fantastic! Plus, it's located right by the beach! What more could you ask for? Honestly, this is some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted!

Treat yourself and visit for a delightful experience! My family and I have been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience, especially when it comes to the flavors. You'll want to sample them all, but I highly recommend the black cherry in a waffle cone—it always brings me back to childhood. The staff works diligently to get you through the occasionally long line, always with a smile. Once you've chosen your favorite, you can enjoy it on their deck while taking in the ocean view, or like us, take it to go.

I adore their ice cream, but I walked 0.75 miles while pregnant, only to discover that the building is no longer there, despite confirming the hours on Google. Please update your hours so that others don’t have the same experience until you find a new location!

We spent three weeks on vacation in Myrtle Beach, and during our stay, we indulged in this incredible ice cream six times! I tried the toasted coconut flavor each and every time, and I can't stop thinking about it now that I'm home. I would gladly go back just to have this ice cream again—it's really that fantastic! The service is excellent as well. If you're in the area, you absolutely have to give this place a try; you won't regret it!
