Waited about 40 minutes to eat here. It was well worth the wait. We ordered the grilled pork and veggies rice paper roll #11) and the shrimp rocket under appetizers). I didn’t know what to expect with the grilled pork roll, but was very pleasantly surprised. It was filling and refreshing. I totally understand why there is usually a wait! Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
Sat 9 am, it was easy to get seated. I ordered: a #1 special. b 4 of the (fermented meat cubes. And ice water. Total came out to $16.42(? , and it was really filling.
I had the Vietnamese steak and eggs here no né and it was pretty good. They have a few different flavors but I got the pate one and my friend got the mushroom one. I wish I could order mine a bit more rare because it comes on a sizzling plate, by the time you eat the second half of it, it is over cooked. Also I really don’t like that they don’t give you water but want you to buy bottled water! Not a nice bottle of water, like bottled Kirkland water… that’s a bit unfriendly to customers especially not at a high end place
