Noorani Halal - Garden Grove

I visited this restaurant for lunch based on a family member's recommendation, and I was not disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which included Nihari, daal with naan, and lamb biryani. Everything was full of flavor and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this place if you're in search of authentic Pakistani cuisine. We were staying in Anaheim, and it was just a short drive away.

I was disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. There was no greeting when we arrived, and the food lacked flavor. The Sunday buffet costs $30, but they should clearly advertise this price because it feels too high for what they provide. If they consider mango lassi to be a special drink, I can easily make it at home for just $2 using yogurt, mango puree, yellow food coloring, and some sugar to sweeten it.

The food was enjoyable, with a good variety to choose from. The staff were friendly, but I wasn't pleased that they asked for tips, especially since I had indicated I wouldn't be tipping. I was dining with a group of friends, and everyone else left generous tips. The server asked me about it twice and seemed a bit upset when I declined. I'm curious why they expect more tips when they've already received plenty from the group. Overall, it's a nice place with a pleasant atmosphere.
