The only disadvantage of these bottles is that they are about as large as the straws, so that slurring from the underside of the bottle can be a challenge.
I went and got the pineapple fruit tea with boba from Roasting Water Garden Grove. The worker who helped me was very friendly and I got my drink quickly. The bottle was adorable but hard to drink in the car! The boba were too soft for me but overall I enjoyed my drink. The bottle is now displayed on my dresser! I won't go often because of the price but overall I enjoyed my visit.
Roasting Water is pretty famous for their uniquely designed bottles glass or plastic depending on their current bottle promotion. This store, as of May 6th, is currently promoting their hard plastic Panda bottles (see picture). Their prices are about $1 to $2 more than other boba shops, but you do get a bottle with your drink that you can reuse at home. I think their glass bottles look and feel like higher quality, but their plastic bottles do come with reusable lids while the glass bottles usually come with cork tops. I would give this RW location a 3.5/4 star rating. Seating is really limited (three small tables and several chairs inside) and the parking lot is tiny and shared with surrounding stores. The employees are nice, service is pretty quick, and drinks tasted good but a little on the sweeter side. I've only tried three different drinks, but my two favorites are Green Tea Macchiato and Avocuddle Buddy.
It appears that Roasting Water does collabs on occasion. This location currently has a sumikko gurashi collab with water bottles and mugs in stock. The drink menu variety is fair. They have a little bit of everything and some unique options. You can customize your drink sugar levels which is excellent. And the posted price on the menu includes the adorable plastic bottle!
I visited a small, charming spot around 4 PM and was pleasantly surprised to find no line at all. There was only one staff member on duty, but the service was efficient. The highlight was definitely the delicious drinks; the milk tea was of exceptional quality. This place would be perfect for a holiday gathering, just for me! They have a cute ambiance with plenty of anime merchandise for sale. However, I noticed that the cups used for the drinks were plastic, and there aren't any interior seating options. Overall, it's a lovely little place!
