Thai Famous Cuisine - Garden Grove

I tried the panang curry and was not impressed. The sauce was like a cheap gravy with no flavor. It's possible that other dishes at this restaurant are good, but I would recommend avoiding the curry.

I always come to this restaurant because I love their food, especially the tom kha soup. However, during my most recent visit on April 9th, 2022, my family and I noticed that the soup did not taste the same as before. We were disappointed as this soup was the main reason we dined at this restaurant. We observed that the bamboo shoots were not the same as before and there were hardly any mushrooms in the soup. We would prefer if they could go back to the previous chef or recipe, as the current version is not as good. The soup seemed watered down and lacked the rich coconut flavor that we enjoyed before. Additionally, we found the employees to be a bit unfriendly, especially the older women. The younger staff members were more pleasant to interact with. We also noticed that the portion sizes were smaller than before. We hope that the restaurant can return to the original recipe or offer a second version of the tom kha soup. Thank you.

I wouldn't be surprised if this place was more renowned for its hospitality than its food. The khua khai and dragon noodles were tasty and the portions were generous. They even offer free Thai ice cream and deep-fried ice cream for everyone! However, it was disappointing to see that they served water and drinks in foam cups. I hope they can switch to more eco-friendly containers for the environment.

Such excellent eating and very friendly and hospitable! I loved the free ice and drinks, it was overall just phenomenal eating and great place to eat! Many thanks to jasmin for their very friendly demeanor and simply their ease in reducing the spicy level, so that we could enjoy eating better, I would come back 100% and recommend it to everyone.

Their yellow curry is as good as their service; it’s excellent! It’s a rare pairing to find both amazing service and delicious food. Thai Famous Cuisine is the perfect spot for some good bites!
