When we arrived, there was a bit of a line, so we were asked to sign in. Miraculously, we were seated right away. I would recommend couples to visit with a group since its easier to find seating for 4 than for 2. I had their Baba Yaga beer and the Carson pepper melt with brisket, so good! Their outdoor seating felt nice and cozy and they were showing the Nightmare on Elm Street. If you like horror movies and a good beer selection this place is for you! PS. Everything is socially distanced. The staff provides hand sanitizer when you arrive and they do a temperature check on your wrist. There are also bottles of hand sanitizer on every table.
Very safe during this Pandemic scenario. Great beer options for any taste, sour to midnight black. Sandies were delicious. Good seats and tables and heaters for patio seating. Go.
Tried during the pandemic times, they handled protocols well and were informative and understanding. The food was a temporary menu at the time but still was real great (highly recommend the brisket) and the drinks quite refreshing. Prices aren't bad either. They had pilsners, sours, stouts and a few german drinks. Recommended for a quick drink and bite to eat to unwind from the week.
Arrived here with my boyfriend and enjoyed walking into a Halloween themed brewery. As the usual brewery fanatics we are, this one was our top favorite in the SOCAL area. At first it took a while for my eyes to adjust however once they did, I was awed with the decorations and vibe of the venue. We arrived around 5pm with a few other groups there. But around 7/7:30pm, on a Friday it started becoming a bit more busy. On a good note, workers and bartenders were polite and quick to getting our drinks. Food was delicious and plentiful that could serve 2 or more people depending on what was ordered (I ordered fries that were more than enough to feed me three times). My boyfriend and I enjoyed the pulled pork as it had the flavor of it being smoked and the right amount of seasoning, which made the fries we had way more enjoyable than any other breweries we have visited. Overall we will definitely come back and will recommend this place to our friends and anyone else who may be reading this!
Phantom Carriage has unbelieve sour beers that are a must try if you're a fan of the style. The brewery itself though is also really unique. The classic horror movie sort of theme is great, and the brewery is quite expansive with plenty of parking and room to walk around. Great food as well, over all a top notch destination.
