The only way a restaurant stays around that long is if it’s serving good food that people like … and this place definitely is. They have a nice menu with good variety making it hard for me to decide. But my waitress helped me out with that. That’s one thing I noticed was the service. I didn’t have just one waitress. Think I had 4 different waitresses helping me while I was there. They all were extremely nice and very helpful. The food was good, better than your average breakfast. I’ll definitely go back there again! Highly recommend!
First time going my friend took me for my Birthday which turned out a nightmare! 47mins our breakfast was brought out!Cold Awful! I didn't eat mine neither did my friend! They were not that busy!!$34.00 was wasted!! We will never go back!
We were not impressed with our experience. The waitstaff were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. We had to flag them down multiple times to get missing food and cream for our coffee. Speaking of coffee, it was very weak. The food presentation was decent, which was the highlight of the meal. The chicken breast was tough, although the vegetables were good. The tamales were overly thick and lacked fillings, consisting mostly of white masa. The omelet looked as if it had been dropped before reaching our table. The biscuit didn’t arrive until we were halfway through our meal, and the gravy was watery and lacked flavor. We didn’t even get offered dessert. Coffee refills were scarce, and we had to ask for them. The building appeared clean, and the prices were reasonable. We noticed a hamburger being served and guessed that it might be their specialty; it looked big, but we can't speak to its taste. The seating was self-service, and there was no guidance on how to pay the bill. Next time, we'll opt for Waffle House instead.
Really disappointed this morning. Bacon tasted like it had been sitting in a grease pool, potatoes had no flavor and biscuit was hard. It was pretty bad, however their tamales are great.
This was my first visit, and I was excited to try it out since my kids go to a wonderful daycare just a couple of blocks away. I walk by this place every day and finally decided to stop in. The interior has a charming vintage vibe, reminiscent of the 1930s to 1950s, with nostalgic memorabilia and wall decorations, including old Coca-Cola bottle caps and classic signage. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was outstanding! I especially enjoyed the Jim Favorite—it was absolutely delicious!
