Plaza Del Sol - Garland

First off I didn’t take pictures, wish I would have. We have been coming here for years but not regulars by all means, maybe 2 times a year. Today our experience was horrible. The server approached us and took our order, she brought out chips (fresh) and green and red salsa. The only one with a spoon was the green one which seemed like maybe it had already been used. We sent it back, we stayed with the red one only. She then proceeded to bring us silverware in rolled napkins, when I opened mine it had a hard left over rice stuck to it. Once we placed our order (hubby: tampiquena, me:hígado encebollado, kids: nuggets and fries) one of my daughter’s ketchup had already been used. They serve their ketchup in disposable plastic containers with a lid like most restaurants, well hers was in top of not one but two dirty ketchup containers and when I checked each cup had leftover ketchup. I told the waitress and she just said oh, and left to get a clean one. When my plate arrived, I grabbed a tortilla for my hígado and the tortilla got dirty with blood, the meat was undercooked and even dripped blood on the napkin. I was disgusted, I also went to the ladies bathroom and their sink was clogged and full of dirty water. Lastly, when it was time to pay their debit card machine kept freezing and they charged me twice, the cashier was able to reverse one of the transactions. We payed $75 or so and it will be the last time. I’m surprised they’re still open, I will be calling the health department. Staff is kind but it is worthless if hygiene is out the window.

Magnificent service and delicious food, the exquisite Menudo

Good service, good breakfast plate. The pork guisado with green sauce is a good plate. This place is small with a jukebox full of Spanish music. I've been there when a guy with a guitar came by taking requests. I assumed he played for tips. I will have to check this place out on a Friday or Saturday night.

This place was horrible especially this waitress with blonde hair old looking about 40-50 was rude and bad customer service she had a bad face everytime we asked her for something when i went to pay my bill she threw the change at me and i told her keep it you need it more then me.

My sister and I had a quick lunch here, just a few tacos. Our bill was around $30. When we went to pay the guy who was at the register looked at our bill very confused and said “that’s it?”. I guess he was expecting our bill to be higher but I didn’t appreciate that.
