My partner and I brought our daughter to the restaurant today. We have visited many times before and always received great service from the friendly staff. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. There was not enough sauce on the chicken, so my daughter asked for more. A man came over to check on our order and agreed that the complaint was valid. However, he then said it would cost an extra 81 cents for more sauce. This was unacceptable to us. The food was also not served hot, and it seemed like everything we wanted required extra sauce. We have decided not to return to this restaurant as this experience was not up to our expectations.
I have the restaurant's app and receive vouchers or offers that I am never able to use. This weekend, I had a $5 off $20 voucher but my order total was $35. I have had issues before where they would not honor the voucher because it was opened before arriving at the restaurant, so this time I made sure to open it right in front of the cash register. Before opening it, I asked if I could use it and was told yes. However, when I opened it, which had a countdown, scanner code, and paycode, the cashier tried to insert it twice and said he couldn't accept it. He said he could only input the code to see if it works and if it doesn't, there was nothing he could do. He explained that they don't scan vouchers because people have been using screenshots multiple times. A young man handling the money said he only follows the owner's instructions. I pointed out that he saw me open it right in front of him, but he still didn't accept it. The food at the restaurant is good, but it's frustrating that they have an app with rewards that customers cannot actually use.
Every time I go to this place, the service and the eating is the pointed notch. I understand they're understated recently. yet they were very wealthy and still very friendly. eating is incredible and the portions are not at all vaccinated. they get what they pay for. amazing!
I'm not even sure where to begin on this trainwreck of a restaurant. I will say that food is phenomenal. Generally, the staff is friendly though they do not wear masks.Word of warning, however, DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THE APP!!! They mark up all of their menu items by 20-50%. Now, ordering through a 3rd party platform like DoorDash or GrubHub, this mark-up is expected. But when you download the company's own app and use it to place a pick-up order, you'd expect the prices to match. They do not.We placed our order tonight this exact way. The order was ready when we arrived, and the lady who handed it to me was friendly. However, I looked up at the menu board while I was waiting for my turn in line, and the prices listed seemed lower than what we paid in the app. I asked for an itemized receipt, and sure enough, with only 2 bowls on our order, there was a discrepancy of about $7 vs. if we had ordered at the counter.I asked about this and was referred to who I can only assume was the manager on duty. This mid-50s man just stood insulting me as he went over the receipt trying to justify these charges, saying he has no control over those prices. Well, firstly, this man had already outed himself as the owner through review responses, so I'm hard pressed to take him at his word. Secondly, I don't care. So, I asked him if he could simply cancel my online order, and please ring me up normally so we could get the price listed on the menu board. He refused and continued insulting me, throwing out the notion that I was the problem with society and the supply chain issues. Okay, buddy. I asked for a full refund, and even that took 15 minutes while he continued berating me. I guess when you own the place, you can be as combative as you want.He then told me never to return. Gladly. This company will rip you off through the app and allow their managers/franchisees to be rude to you when you notice it.This man's tone is accurately reflected in each of his responses to negative reviews left here, specifically regarding his mannerisms, customer service, or conflict resolutions. I suppose you could find a good meal here if you avoid the glasses-clad, mustache toting manager that runs this place. I am eager to see what kind of response he leaves for me.Edit: less than an hour and he responded! Good to see it was as expected. Not disappointed ? This place must double as a machine shop with all the fabrications the owner claims have.
