I had called ahead to make sure they could accommodate my anaphylactic food allergies (dairy and shellfish), which they assured me they could. When we got there I informed our waiter of my allergies and she said she would check on the rolls for the sandwiches to see if they had dairy, she never came back with an answer so when she started taking our orders I asked if she had checked in about the rolls and she smirked and rolled her eyes at me and said everything has dairy. So I had asked if she could see if the gluten free rolls had dairy and she seemed to get very annoyed that I was asking her to check something else. Right off the bat she said she thought they had dairy but I pushed her to check with the kitchen and after she did we found out they in fact did NOT have dairy and were safe for me. The whole experience seemed like I was inconveniencing her with my allergies which is frustrating since it’s life or death for me. My burger was okay but not great, my dads food wasn’t very good but some other people in our party enjoyed theirs so I decided to give this 2 stars.
UPDATE: Good of you to update your menu. Your hostess’ on BOTH occasions did not honor what your online menu said would come with come with the meals , even after showing them your online menu. The Better Business Bureau is still awaiting your response. Christine Kepple was sent a second message on July 1st about the fact that you have not responded in the time frame allotted regarding your false advertising and not fulfilling what should have come with the meals when I ordered from your restaurant. While your restaurant can say it should have been honored, the fact is, it wasn’t. That’s why I reached out to the Better Business Bureau. We are awaiting your response via their portal and what your business will do to fix the complete lack of professionalism I experienced at your establishment. Beware! They cheat customers that order online. I went twice to get kids meals for my son and his friend. When you choose the option for online ordering, it brings you to a menu that clearly states that each kids meal includes an Ace Sundae. I didn’t realize this was the kind of establishment that would be negligent and not include what was supposed to be in the order, so I didn’t realize it was wrong until my son pointed it out. I ordered from there again because (let’s be honest) there aren’t a whole lot of options in the area. This time I pointed it out. I was told they don’t do sundaes for online orders. I showed the hostess the site and they still didn’t correct it! No compensation for their mistake, no apology, nothing. This is low level fraud. I will be contacting the better business bureau. Establishments are in no way allowed to advertise something then refuse the customer of the item they paid for. The food wasn’t even good, it made my son sick both nights and the dining room smells of mildew.
Great view looking out to the lake and the food was very good. My son had the ribeye and was very happy with it and my daughter loved the creme brulee. My wife had the beet salad and she said it was delicious!
The food was awesome, the deck dining was phenomenal, and our waitress Hailee was amazing!
Wow what a wonderful experience. Chloe greeted us with hospitality and made sure we didn’t want for anything. The food was made in a timely manner and tasted delicious. My favorite was the cream brûlée.
