My sister and brother-in-law had been telling me to try them for months. My niece loves Santa Massa pizzas and today I finally decided to try the 5 cheese (I'm in love with cheese) and honestly? a 10! The pizzas are super good. As the name of the restaurant indicates, this place offers pizzas with doughs that we could call “holy”, their flavor is almost unimaginable. This restaurant is located in Garriguella, in a small town in Girona. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, all with quality ingredients. We ordered barbecue, five cheeses, vegetarian... they were all delicious, especially the Capretta: Mozzarella, cream, caramelized onion and pesto pearls. To give you an idea of how good they were, the next day we ate the remains for dinner, they were almost as delicious. They also have different tubs of Angelo Corvitto ice cream, he won the award for best ice cream maker in 2006. We opted for the cheesecake, a perfect choice, the cheese provided extra creaminess to the preparation and the acidity of the red fruits They gave off freshness and acidity thus creating a perfect balance.
