I ordered meatloaf with gravy, dressing with gravy, macaroni casserole, a burnt corn muffin, iced tea, and tea cakes on Sunday, June 30, 2019, for $12. Shortly after the meal, I became ill with vertigo, nausea, diarrhea, shaking, and weakness. I had to call the paramedics and ended up bedridden for three days. I wrote a letter to the owner requesting a refund, but I have yet to receive any response, apology, or refund.

The food is amazing! If you're in search of fast food, this isn't the right spot. All dishes are prepared fresh upon order!

I absolutely love this restaurant! For just $10.70, you get a generous portion of meat, two side dishes, a cornbread muffin, and a slice of cake. The menu is extensive, and everything is fresh and delicious! Just a heads up, they only accept cash. The food was so incredible that I completely forgot to take pictures, but it was definitely worth it. They're open on Sundays from 3-6, Tuesdays from 12-6, and Fridays from 12-6. I had the catfish dinner with mac and cheese and candied yams. The atmosphere was cozy, with plenty of seating, and they were playing the Hallmark channel on TV. It’s a fantastic spot for soul food!

The food at this restaurant is excellent. The service is outstanding, and everything is always prepared fresh. It's homemade and truly delicious.
