Brisket ANYTHING, Sandwich was unreal! Their own Molasses BBQ mix is phenomenal!

(Family of 6) we ordered 2 appetizers. Jalapeño poppers and fried mushrooms. If I wanted freezer food I’d go buy it from a grocery store. I expect this restaurant to prepare these two items fresh. Disappointing. The brisket sandwich was good but I tasted no smoke. The fries were served to us soggy and old. They must have been prepared 30 minutes beforehand. I could mention more disappointing aspects here but I’ll leave it like this. Probably will not return. Sorry Ray

The waitress was great. The restaurant was as advertised hole in wall. The food was awful. We had a rib and brisket plate. Don’t know what kind of rib this was but wasn’t a baby back. It had no seasoning or smoke to it. I told my wife I think it was cooked in an oven. Her brisket was bad. No seasoning or smoke flavor. We saw the reviews on Google at 4.6 with 700 plus reviews. So we thought let’s try it. We paid $40 dollars for this meal and it was terrible. I didn’t ask if the meat was actually smoked you couldn’t convince me. There was a smoker out front not being used. We were here on a Saturday around 4. I won’t be back.
