Contribuisci feedbackPizza was REALLY good we had the mushroom and truffle pizza. The linguine Alfredo pasta was too cheesy, my husband could make a better one. The grilled chicken add on to the pasta was cooked well. Not a lot of options for dessert.Atmosphere was fun could be a good date spot or a good option for hanging out with friends and family.Service was subpar server didn't come to us quick, offer us water or even ask us how the food was. Server was polite though and helped us customize our order so that was nice.Parking: Lots more parking behind the restaurant. Fewer spots at the front.
I took my Mother and our family out for her birthday, I made a reservation with no issues (other then it being entirely in French with no English option) We where sat quickly but they couldn't provide enough English menus for us. The food was on the higher side, and the portions were pretty small. The water they gave us was tap water, which i shouldn't even have to explain why thats gross over here. The bread bar they have is not very appealing. The grill looks dirty, and the utensils are shared, which post covid grosses me out. The service was sub-par. We had to flag down the server multiple times. The actual quality of the food again was sub-par. It's very lazily done, and the overall quality of the restaurant is not up to my standards. There are many other options in Gatineau that'll make you happier.
Recently renovated location brings some fresh atmosphere to this location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and our food came quickly to order. Can’t beat the DIY toast bar. On weekends I’d definitely call ahead to make reservations as this location can get very busy. Good amount of parking overall. Been here years ago but glad I had the chance to see it all renovated.
First time there. Service was very slow, I felt bad for the server she seemed to have a big section, she did the best she could. She was very accommodating to speak English as well, not all restaurants in Gatineau are. They ran out of calamari so we ordered the Parmesan dip which was very disappointing. Arancini was good as well even though it was supposedly truffle flavour and there was barely a hint of truffle. Both the mains were good.Overall, I feel this was potentially an off night for them. I will return but order different dishes.
It isn't bad, but I feel like the quality and service has been lacking attention to detail the last few times I went. Our server was nice, but did not provide any instructions on how to use the bread bar, or offer pepper/parmesan after we received our pasta. The calamari and drink were delicious but the bare minimum of pasta sauce in my dish was lackluster, bland, and my breaded fish was soggy and anemic looking. A bit disappointing considering the price tag.I also have to note that the birthday songs that plays is so aggressively loud, it is impossible to hear anyone talk at your table unless you scream, or you simply have to awkwardly wait in silence for the loud noise to stop. I love the festivities, but that sound level is way too much hahaha
