We reached late at night and most diners were already closed or closing soon. This place was open and we are forever grateful to the lady who answered the phone and said she'll wait the 15 minutes it would take us to get there. We ordered Egg rolls, Mixed chow Mein, Chicken Szechuan, Garlic chicken and 2 500 ml Cokes. The preparation was just okay but again due to the late hour we were thankful we got food. The egg rolls tasted burnt. The chow mein was interesting as it was prepared with bean (moong) sprouts!! We have never had chow mein prepared with bean sprouts before. I don't know if they were out of noodles,or that's the way they prepare it at that place. At the time of ordering we were not told they were out of noodles or we could have ordered something else. Maybe they thought we were outsiders and not likely to visit again, the lateness of the hour (9:30 PM) and that it was takeaway food whatever! It wasn't bad to taste but it was certainly not as filling as noodles would have been. So our party of 3 went to bed a little hungry. Note to self Next time when ordering take away in a strange place be sure to open and check the boxes. The items cost CAD$ 44.44
