The worst sushi I've ever tried, small and messy. Very disappointing
Fantastic food and good service if you are there at the right time. Your experience will depend on how crowded it is. Off-peak hours are strongly recommended.
Unfortunately, several of the ingredients weren't very fresh. The avocado in my large roll were brown and stringy, I had to discard them. The smoked salmon was strangely pale, almost white, and didn't taste very good. The ginger was slimy, I had to discard it. The edamame beans had brown spots. Some things tasted like they'd gone bad. Some of the rolls were okay; the raw salmon seemed fine, and the Miso soup was passable. All in all, it was a bit of a disappointment : too bad cuz I usually like Sushi Shop, but perhaps this location is struggling and using stuff that's not very fresh to save money. I would recommend they use higher quality smoked salmon, and make sure all their ingredients are fresh.
Ordered via Ubereats and it took over an hour and a half for them to pack my order (my delivery driver got here within 5 minutes of picking up the order). Tried calling 5 times and no one answered. Very disappointed.Answer so store manager (I can't seem to answer directly): my order is #BC411 (or 911 I'm not sure) and I ordered today around 5pm.
