One of the oldest restaurants in the city at nehru stage and good for fast food. good with friends and colleagues, as most fast food items are available.
This place serves amazing Chinese foods especially momos to appropriate trips. the quantity and quality of food at this price is one of the good things at the place. a bit more decor would make it perfect.
The legendary momo it's assumed to serve was average at best. I have had fried momos. Also the soup served was nothing worth a mention, there's street momo stalls serving more seasoned soup. The reason that it left a bad taste in my mouth (pun...intended) was that for Rs 300, they served only 8 tiny pieces of chicken drums of heaven, which tasted terrible and way way overpriced.
First off, the food here is AMAZING!!! The chicken momo, chicken spring roll, chicken fried rice and all the other chicken preparations (eg. chili chicken, chicken Manchurian) and even the noodles are great. I often visit the restaurant with my family. It has a friendly...atmosphere and even the waiters are friendly. The food being great as it is also has a very reasonable price. It is also quite a popular place to grab a bite as every time we visit we hardly find two-three tables which are unoccupied. But if anyone finds themselves at the Chinese Hut, I would recommend the the Chicken momo as it is what Chinese Hut is famous for.
