However, during my recent visit to The Palms, the coffee shop, for lunch, I was very disappointed. It is a small and clearly run-down place, with cramped seating. I was seated at a dirty table, but after requesting a change, the waiter brought a new tablecloth. The service, on the other hand, was good. The sweet corn soup I ordered for Rs 295 was average. The only other diners in the coffee shop seemed to be conference attendees enjoying the lunch buffet. It is clear that The Palms is not a popular spot.
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with well-prepared and attentive staff. The food quality is excellent. Although the prices may seem a bit high when looking at the menu, the portion sizes make it all very reasonable.
The hotel's location may be difficult to reach due to congestion and narrow roads, but the restaurant itself provides a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The food is pricey and lacks in flavor. The portions are adequate for one person. While dinner was decent, some of us were disappointed as the staff could not persuade the chef to make adjustments to our orders.
If you can tolerate the congested, narrow and not so easily accessible location of the hotel, the restaurant itself offers a clean and good ambiance. However, the food is over priced and not great on the palate either. The spread was reasonably good for a dinner but the courteous staff could not manage to convince the chef to make some fine tweaks on the order, leaving some of us not so satisfied.
A restaurant with a nice ambience. The staff well mannered and forthcoming. The food quality is great. The price when i did glanced through the menu looked a bit high but with quantity of food its reasonable.
