So Espeto - Gaula

Shocked and from the behavior of the manager. dined in so espeto for the first time, sat on the table and before drinks ordering or menu came a bolo de cacao and a tomato and mozzarella salat, where placed on the table. we noticed. that it happened to everyone. we drank house red, which was great, eat itpetada and picanha perfectly boiled. full taste. the staff was friendly and warm very efficient. Ideal stop at the airport after arrival just a few minutes away. huge places still feel comfortable. large open grill, which should be seen in the kitchen, all we had was fresh, tasty, of good quality and lots of quantity. big tw for this football night discreet viewing from the table for my husband!

We are here many times and every time we say wonderfully. this time sitting on a Sunday afternoon sitting on the delicious terrace in the shade of large mango trees. the service is perfect as always and the food delicious!. we had crispy sucking pig, with fabulous chips and a spit with delicate meat. what we can say, go easy and find them out, and most likely it will also be their favorite restaurant in madeira.

Visited for lunch with a friend, delightful open air dining area, unfortunately planes coming in to land overhead produce noise and kerosene fumes! I had chicken espetada which was reasonably priced and quite good, however my husband had the beef espetada on the bone, which...is exactly what it is, mainly bone and gristle. Surprisingly this cost more than the normal beef espetada. We complained but they weren’t interested. The cerveza was good, served in a large goblet and reasonably priced.

Have visited this Restaurant most times i have gone to the airport , i can recommend the suckling pig done on the spit , mouth watering tasty served with there traditional potato chips .. and you should try the sweet potato with the Cana De Mel Drizzel ... staff are always attentive & friendly .. roof top restaurant with views of the ocean & if you like planes a good view of the planes coming in over the sea ....
