Great local food, nice service and amazing prices. The ladies were really friendly and they offered us drinks and dessert for free.

After my sightseeing I went for Dinner at the Tawerna. The restaurant is very rustic and the decorations unique. The service is very friendly and helpful. I had the pork roulade with cabbage salad and roasted potatoes. The food was delicious and tasteful. I can recommend this restaurant and will be back on my next Gdansk visit.

I mean what is not to like about this place???!!! Great homely food great homely atmosphere with a fantastic old school decor!! It is like eating at my grandma's place, table full of food and place filled with love! Also fantastic service!!! Loved every second and the home made cherry

Simply stunning food! We stumbled upon this little gem just by accident when looking for somewhere traditional to eat and boy we were not disappointed! We arrived pretty early and it was still quiet but by the time our mains came they were turning people away it was that busy. It was so good we went back twice during our trip. A definite must when in Gdansk!

Brilliant meal. Very spacious tables and layout. Cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
