Inn For A Penny - Gedling

We stumbled across this place when out in Carlton. It's a fantastic pub for the real ale drinker with lots of variety on tap. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I found out afterwards it's also a favourite for one of my colleagues when he is over and I can see why. I am sure we will return next time we visit the city.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of beers to suit everyone's taste. The staff are knowledgeable in keeping the beers well maintained and properly served. They are also helpful and friendly, as I witnessed one bartender going above and beyond to assist a woman having technical difficulties with her phone. The refurbishment of the restaurant is impressive and sets it apart from typical Birmingham pubs.

I brought my sister whp has special needs to inn for a penny today.ive never felt so welcomed lovely staff great service and the food was absolutely wonderful. The lady behind the bar was so accommodating and the chef was so lovely. We had such a lovely time today and would recommend this for nice food great atmosphere and genuinely all round a great place to bring family friends kids even dogs. Thank-you to the staff at inn for a penny it's so nice to have a good local pub where you can just enjoy yourself.

No food again. The atmosphere is poor. The staff is nice but apologetic. We will not be coming back. We have attempted to dine here 4 times but have not been served any food. Avoid this place.
