But the cakes look like they were bought in..and what is a Cafe, if it doesn't offer good morning and arvo tea? Is it a restaurant? Point of difference could be kransky for lunch or cevapcici.. but as I was there for morning tea/ brunch.. cannot comment on these. Milk was well spun, but the coffee lacked taste..
A trendy cafe in Geelong West serving excellent food and coffee. The scones are soft and fluffy served with either jam and cream or butter. Im told the soy hot chocolate was delicious as was the toasted gluten free banana bread. There are many other excellent pastries. The food coming from the kitchen all looked amazing. The young staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A great place for a coffee or meal.
Have visited The Village door a couple of times now after being taken there for a coffee with friends! It was just a stop for a coffee and scones this time! A friendly greeting by staff on arrival, order promptly taken! Coffee and scones delivered soon after order was taken! Beautiful scones and coffee! Will be a regular stop from now on! Very impressed with this place! ☕️
This cafe has some different dishes to the usual eateries. We visited on a Tuesday and had Potato and Cheese Pirogi ( a Polish dish) and a meal of Cevapi(Croatian meat). There were three pirogi on the plate fried in butter with Polish Sausage on the side. I could've had more Pirogi and less sausage, they were so moorish. The Cevapi dish had six sausages, some fried potatoes, thinly sliced cabbage salad and some green salad with peppers. This was also tasty. There were other European dishes on the menu as well as daily specials and usual breakfast fare.
A stylish cafe along the Pako strip which is now awash with trending cafes seeking to secure patronage.Crockery is unusual - in a positive way and the fitout is expensive. Accordingly, the prices are on the high side. That said the menu offers a smallish range of quality dishes that are not all seen on cafe menus. The scrambled eggs with toast was one of the better plates I've had this year - the eggs were slightly runny & the butter was apparent. However, as seems to be the practice across many cafes the eggs could have done with some green garnish on top - Chef such a small cost to make a more memorable dish.
