In general. there is a QR code for online ordering from the table (i.e. not many waitstaff required), but they still calculate 10% surcharge at billing and celebrate 20%. there is also a statement in the menu as follows: “We are proud to pay our employees the award, which is why we include the surcharge for these days.” this is a misleading statement in the right transactions the employees must pay the corresponding award as minimum and this is an ordinary running cost of a cafe business. all that is less than the award is wage theft and illegal. simply paying the minimum award can not be used to greed overload the customer to mask or to justify wrong. they should only be proud if they pay their employees over and above the award. there is also not much service involved in using a QR code, so this is easy overload overload.
