The Gateway Feast - Geelong

I had a wonderful time. The staff was so friendly and solved all requests. A great place to visit again

Excellent venue for family dining. Very child-friendly with a wide range of food selections to cater for most tastes. I love the roasts. They were particularly succulent tonight. The staff are always friendly and attentive. We’ve been enjoying this buffet experience for many years.

I arrived at the Corio Bay Motel just after 6pm after a 3 hour drive and they suggested this place for dinner.It was a short walk along a dodgy road to the Gateway but once there I was very pleased. It was Thursday night and it was all you could eat smorgasbord. The food was delicious and cheap and while it was a family restaurant with lots of kids there, it was still relatively peaceful. Would return

I appreciate this buffet restaurant is in an under-privileged suburb, but for the price you pay at the door (which is only substantial in comparison to the quality of the restaurant), the food within is very poor.Each "different dish" on offer tastes much the same as the last and offers little for the palate.This restaurant would benefit from opening a salad bar or alike to compensate for the lack of freshness in much of their dishes, and perhaps reduce the some of the deep fried options and replace with some more wholesome foods (a casserole, differents pasta sauce option) to cater for a wider demographic.(And although the service here is not bad, it just doesn't compensate for the one thing you are really paying for).

Visited a friend for the night who was in transit had dinner at the buffet plenty to choose from but very bland food wasn't enjoyable at all.
