Found Bieriger as we were wandering around this part of town and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a proper traditional interior, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating...options spread throughout this tavern ,its just one really cosy place to unwind in. We were here on a Friday night, this place was busy with a great atmosphere, we had a quick study of the beers on offer and we both opted to have a pils style beer each ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back,chilled out and took in the great tavern we were in . My beer was outstanding, a light,crisp,hoppy beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I am particularly fond of, my brother also gave me the thumbs up to his beer. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on for a first time visit we were totally impressed with Bieriger. Bieriger is easy to locate on Schweglerstraße. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 2am. A great tavern well worth checking out.

Walked into this quaint pub and ordered cordon Bleu and grilled chicken jacket potatoes with friends. The portion sizes were huge and absolutely delicious and around only €10. Definitely a good combo of quality and quantity! Would recommend if you're looking for a good Austrian...pub feed :

Alteingesessenes Bierlokal, das leider schon sehr viele Neuübernahmen hinter sich hat. Normalerweise sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, hängt aber auch von der Tagesverfassung ab.Das Essen ist sehr gut, allen voran die Spare-Ribs, die mit 3 Saucen, Braterdäpfeln und Krautsalat serviert werden. Zu empfehlen sind auch die Hühnerflügerln, Schnitzerl und Cordon Bleu, und das gekochte Rindfleisch. Auch die Desserts sind sehr gut, mein Favorit ist Bierigers Schokobanane.

Ich war jetzt schon einige Male dort. Zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten und Tagen. Es war immer ein Erlebnis. Tolles Essen. Freundliche Kellner. Zuvorkommendes Service. Tolles Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Immer wieder gerne. Ein grandioses Alt Wiener Restaurant.

Sind am ersten Abend nach 21:30 Uhr mit dem Zug angekommen und dann gleich zum Bieriger. Schöner Innenhof (der aber wegen Lärmschutz gegen 23:00 Uhr schliessen muss), gute Tageskarte Preis/Leistung gut!
