Reef Beach Resort - General Luna

One of the best places in Siargao! You will definitely get great value for your money. Highly recommended—the food is excellent!

The bed was quite firm, while the pillows were extremely soft. For most people, this combination is comfortable, but as a side sleeper, I woke up with sore shoulders and a stiff neck. If you sleep on your back or stomach, though, you should have no trouble. The food was exceptionally well-prepared and quite tasty. Unfortunately, I encountered mistakes with my orders when dining as part of a group—like receiving coffee instead of tea, getting a shake instead of juice, and a takeout meal I ordered before my flight that never got prepared. However, when I ordered by myself, everything was correct. The location offers beautiful scenic views and is close to many attractions. That said, the beach in front of the restaurant is quite rocky, which isn't ideal for beach activities. This is understandable since the area is partly set in a mangrove. The better beaches for activities are likely near the surf spots, where most people go. Overall, it’s a great place; the small issues prevent it from being a perfect 5/5 experience. The value for money is good, especially since you'll spend most of your time exploring Siargao Island anyway, so these minor inconveniences aren't too much of a problem. Plus, they have a happy hour from 4 to 6 PM with excellent drink options—perfect for a pre-game before diving into Siargao's nightlife!

Although we didn't stay at the hotel, we decided to try their restaurant during a town-wide power outage. We ordered the Filipino breakfast, carbonara, and buffalo wings. I absolutely loved the Filipino breakfast; the corned beef tasted homemade and was delicious! However, we weren't as keen on the buffalo wings, as they were a bit too saucy for our liking, though it wasn't a major issue. The service was quite good, and the staff served us with a cheerful attitude. We returned in the evening for their full moon party, and the atmosphere was fantastic—very entertaining!

Madly overpriced for the quality of the rooms. Run down and shabby, very small rooms, didn’t service the room for 2 days and then forgot the towels. Location was pretty good. food in restaurant was average and full of screaming kids that nobody told to be quiet.

FIND ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE THATS WIRTH WHAT YOU ARE PAYING.. Currently staying here now and we cannot sleep. It is sooo hot in our room. Time check 1am. AC is broken. Exhaust fan in our CR is broken.. wifi is sporadic! We cannot report it to anyone since frontdesk is only until 10pm. We are paying almost 6,000/night And they couldnt even provide toiletries as well. Red doorz hotel can even provide a set of toiletries for 900/night. Expectation vs reality... book your room else where, your vacation will be ruined. The only pro: receptionist was very accomodating.
