While the views are nice, the lack of modern amenities such as night tables on both sides of the bed is disappointing. The high price is not justified as the experience is not worth even half of what is charged. The celebrity photos displayed include Kirstie Alley and Parker Stevens, which speaks volumes. There are plenty of other accommodations in the area to choose from. It's best to look elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.
Utterly disappointed in the restaurant! Not really sure what happened to this place. We loved coming here, food was great, service was excellent, and the views of Seneca lake- stunning. They just unveiled a new menu, that was so disappointing, foodwas terrible, no real options just pizza, salad that tasted like I came from a bag, and service that was high schoolers, theviews of the lake were the only thing that was the same. Take this how it is intended, make a better menu, increase yourquality, and train your staff.
I visited this party house for a wedding and reception which was catered by two different caterers. The wedding ceremony was beautiful thanks to the breathtaking backdrop of a small pond and heavily wooded land. The building was spacious and had a nice, open feel with multiple entrance doors kept open to keep it cool within for a July day. Overall, as a guest to a wedding, Ireally enjoyed this venue.
My girlfriends and I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a terrible experience. Most of the staff were very friendly, except for one woman named Joan. When we checked in, we were informed that the hotel would provide transportation if we got stranded, but when we called for assistance the next day, Joan was extremely rude and refused to help us. She argued with us and made us feel uncomfortable, even though we were just asking for a service that was promised to us. During check-out, Joan was condescending and tried to overcharge us for our stay. After a long, confusing conversation, she finally printed out a receipt that showed the correct balance. Despite our efforts to clarify the charges, Joan insisted that she had already explained everything correctly. Overall, our experience with Joan at this hotel was very disappointing and we would not recommend staying here.
The restaurant is charming and unique, offering a beautiful view of the lake. The bed is comfortable, the linens and towels are of high quality, and the staff is friendly. However, the landscaping could use some updating and cleaning up, as there are a lot of old, sparse bushes. The price is a bit high for what is offered, especially considering that more creamers should be left in the fridge instead of just a couple of small pods by the Keurig machine in the suite with a kitchen. Overall, the only reason for not giving it a five-star rating is the price.
