Great hotel, is quickly overlooked by, so inconspicuous it looks from the outside. It's just... The staff is very friendly, everything is very clean, modern and well maintained. Although the hotel is very centrally located in the heart of the old town of Gengenbach, it has a relatively large and very beautiful spa area with natural outdoor pool. I can't say anything for dinner, but the menu was very appealing. The breakfast buffet leaves absolutely no wishes. Parking directly at the hotel is rather modest, but nearby there is a garage. Not very cheap, but a very great hotel!

The service was not really huge! 30 minutes we sat in front of empty plates that were not cleaned, although there were 5 people. At prices and standards a NoGo! We waited for the main course over 1h. Beverage delivery wasn't really good. The staff didn't see we were sitting on the dry one. For 2 courses we sat in the restaurant for 2.5 hours. Slow food and ambience okay, but if you're hungry, it should go a bit faster.
