Contribuisci feedbackHi La Cocina Owner! You spoke to my elderly mother on the phone, and to clarify, she meant everything was good with the order in reference to the itemized contents of the order (except for the missing tortillas, which if it is a known issue that they get lost, I would suggest utilizing a different process for packaging your orders just common business sense). And to clarify regarding the quality of the food, it was not good. I ate about half before my elderly mother and father could tell how displeased I was with the food. I would send you a picture of the half eaten rubber chicken, but it was thrown in the trash immediately where I felt it belonged. And trust me, I was not most upset at not receiving a complimentary fajita dinner as I will never eat your food again. Just because it is one of your best selling dishes, does not mean it is quality food. But thank you for showing your restaurant’s inability to make a tasteful chicken fajita dinner with the correct food items needed for a chicken fajita dinner, as well as showing your restaurant’s massive lack of professionalism and twisting the words of an elderly woman. Thanks Josh!
This place is NOT good at all. Ordered the chicken fajitas and not only was the chicken like eating rubber, but they did not give me tortillas with my meal…we called for assistance with this issue and all they could offer was a free drink. I highly recommend staying away from this place and going elsewhere. The customer service is awful and the food is almost worse..
I have tried approximately 75% of the menu and every meal has been delicious!
I was expecting the same quality and quantity as there fox lake IL location. The Genoa city restaurant doesn’t come close to the fox lake La Cocina
The food at this restaurant was decent, but nothing exceptional. The carne asada was made with high-quality meat, but lacked in flavor. The horchata was delicious, and the mamut burrito was massive. It is big enough for two people with hearty appetites to share, as it comes already cut in half. However, like the asada, the burrito could benefit from more seasoning and some type of sauce to prevent it from being too dry.
