Kowalski - Genova

Genova is not very friendly with the vegans and here I can find a couple of good options. can be eaten in peace

Really nicer place to have a drink (try one of their types of Moscow-Mule or vodkas and have a bite. the personal is friendly and white, which means vegan, vegetarian and vegan items are marked in the menu. I had pierogi and they were really good, also another plate of my friend tried and was also delicious. a great option in a city not as vegan friendly as genoese

Non ci sono antipasti veg, tra le opzioni dei primi piatti/piatti unici/zuppe ce ne sono cieca 3/4 vegane, io ho scelto uno stufato di verdure su tortino di patate gratinato. Molto saporito, davvero buono e per niente scontato! Poi sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla presenza di un dolce vegano, un tortino al cioccolato con frutti di bosco, veramente squisito! Prezzi leggermente alti forse però personale gentile e disponibile (ci hanno accolti anche con un antipasto veg cioè un pane alla barbabietola)

I found the restaurant to have a good variety of vegan options, with clear markings on the menu. I tried the pierogis and thought they were delicious, and also had a rice dish which was good. I noticed they offered a vegan soup as well, but I did not try it. For dessert, I enjoyed a chocolate cake which was fantastic. In addition to the food, they had a diverse cocktail and vodka selection. The prices were a bit high, but the atmosphere was great.

While not exclusively vegan, this restaurant offers vegan options for every course (as of December 2022: one soup, two mains, one vegetarian dish that can be made vegan, and one dessert). The menu clearly marks these options, making it convenient for plant-based diners. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to prepare a vegan amuse-bouche.
