Sushi Poel - Gent

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, tucked away on a quiet street in Ghent away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended!

The sushi was of good quality, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiter was courteous.

We enjoyed an avocado salad, octopus takoyaki, salmon and eel nigiri, and salmon teriyaki at this restaurant. The fish was fresh and expertly cooked, and the service was exceptional. The only critique I have is that there was a slight dusty smell inside the restaurant, though this may have been just my experience.

Cozy restaurant, with a really nice waitress, and tasty sushi (we tried the combo for 2 pax and all 48 pieces were really fresh)!

The food was a delight. My sister and son were of the same opinion. Visit the restaurant and find out for yourself. The lady who served us was very attentive, and she did her job with a measured humorous touch. The restaurant is in the center of Ghent, and it can easily be reached by means of public transport.
