La Laguna - Genval

Despite having booked a table two days earlier, specifying in the window, I was badly received and put on hold, supposedly no al-show table, or I saw a free and undeserved table (as the boss tells me we didn't book. So, quid my reservation? In the end, the boss puts me at a table next to the window, I wait for my guest to arrive soon. I order an aperitif, and the boss in front of everyone says he wants me to leave the table. I'm always stubborn, but I'm stubborn, and I'm sitting at the table. He comes back several times, says in front of everything he's not happy with my coming. I don't get up, but I see the smart look of the customers in the face of the misfortune of this boss. If I didn't have an appointment, I'd be gone. expensive dishes and frankly a kitchen for tourists. a restaurant that plays its location but has nothing else to offer.

My companion and I arrived this Sunday, there are no busy tables. the terrace is very large, one part is side lake the other further. seeing us coming with our little dog, the boss doesn't leave us the choice of the table. and yes half of the terrace is forbidden on the lake)! so we settle on the side of the path, a few minutes after we are asked to change because the server wants to spread the tables .no is worried, but there is a way to make the request.! At the same time as the order I politely ask if it is possible to have a little water for the dog, I will be answered dry: I will put water further but not under the table. So the water is set next to the trash in the sun! We'll never go back.

The restaurant is incredibly well located, on the lake. and the staff is doing everything we can to take advantage of it. But in this restaurant, I had one of the worst experiences in a restaurant this Sunday. We have orders. It wasn't about a box and that meat was pecked. I'm not used to making crusts for my dish. I tried to eat it. I thought it was just because it was the end of the meat. In the end, after eating almost half, I tell the waiter. so that it also sees the quality of the meat. I didn't intend to bring me back, but just to clarify. the server was adorable and offered to take a new dish. And I get shot by the boss because I used half the meat. He exploded, and left at the time I left without even listening to what I had to say. I got up to talk to him. I never wanted to steal it, eat all the meat and get it back. I'm telling her it's not a way to talk to people. He answers me that I'm not talking to you, I tell him exactly and he comes back to the fact that I didn't have to eat that meat. I'm telling him I'll pay him if he wishes, that it wasn't the problem. I ask for a service and that it was not a service and that this meat was spicy. He answers me, and you think there's everybody in my restaurant for the lake?! Unfortunately, I think so. The staff was very uncomfortable. He finally made me pay! each euro, including the sauce. otherwise, in general I was very pleased with this restaurant, both for staff and for food (bowl or pizza). But frankly, the boss is just disrespectful and dishonest. He doesn't care because his restaurant works well. I'll never put my feet there again. I spent a horrible night.

My family and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and found it to be fully booked. As we were leaving, I asked why they had not opened the heated terrace, and the waiter promptly opened it up for us. Within minutes, the terrace was half full. Our infant was given a drawing notebook and pencils, which was a nice touch. The service was quick, but it would have been even better if the staff smiled more. The pizza was very good, although not as big as the legendary Cosi Come pizzas. The minestrone soup and risotto were also delicious. The drinks were a bit overpriced, but that is to be expected at restaurants along the lake. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.

My pouse made me discover this restaurant by inviting me there as well as some thirty friends and family members to celebrate my birthday on Saturday March the setting is beautiful and relaxing with direct view of the lake of genval. service courteous and quick malgrances the number of guests. the dishes were all succulent and the apro home recommend) to dessert and caf everything was really perfect. A real pleasure!
