Café Seow Fong Lye - George Town

First time visit, limited food option. Chu cheong fun, char kueh kak are nice. The shop owner run the coffee shop selling coffee, omelette, bread with egg, char kuey teow, loh mei gei etc.

Very good food at cheap price. Portions not huge but the price is right. Char kway teow very good, wok hei! Loh mai kai also recommended.

Came here on Monday was disappointed that Char Kueh Kak stall not open on that day. Decided to try Char Kueh Teow and Chee Cheong Fun. A plate of CKT cost RM6 with egg and RM 5.50 without egg . While a plate of large Chee Cheong Fun cost RM 4. Take note that Penang Chee Cheong Fun uses Prawn paste and sweet sauce as their sauce. Unlike other states in Malaysia, sauce are mainly made by sweet sauce . Both CKT and Chee Cheong Fun are delicious and cheap. Uncle that served us also friendly.Parking is available if come early before the other shops open.

Best place in Penang for Chee Cheong Fun. Cafe is clean, spacious, and the coffee is good. Parking can be a challenge so coming early is best.

Came here for CCF but CKK deserves the spotlight as well! Both equally good and reasonably priced! Highly recommended!
