Casanova - George Town

That is probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever visited throughout my life. if you ask a culinary experience here, don't go! we came to the perfect time and got a table on the terrace. within minutes the whole place was full. I ordered the bolognese. perfection! I couldn't get enough. the best bolognese I ever had periode! our waiter was super and consistent to check on us. that was as a sunglass was incredible and the live musician was the icing on the cake. I dream about my next holiday to the cayman so I can eat here again.

We were looking for a new restaurant with outside kitchen. it was excellent. the waiting staff was extremely attentive and helpful. eating was excellent. highly recommended and cannot expect to visit this week and in the future again.

After a lunch break that took our day off, we changed our plans again when we saw that the fish restaurant in which we wanted to feed was recently permanently closed. after a small walk and online research we found ourselves in casanowa. I usually eat no heavier Italian during lunchtime, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. the homemade pasta was wonderful, the fish was fresh and the desserts were made this morning in the house! also on a gloomy afternoon the covered terrace was a beautiful location to feed. when my teenage daughter sent her compliments to the chef, she was invited back to the kitchen to tell him, and soon after that she returned with the chef to the table to welcome the rest of us! we enjoyed our talks with the cook together with the food and service. I recommend it very much!

Amazing eating and scenic atmosphere. a truly beautiful culinary experience for a quiet, intimate dinner or family restaurant. exceptional staff. always a favorite night out.
