Mango Tree Bar Restaurant - George Town

This place was a complete disappointment. It's located right next to the airport, so it was very noisy. The phone kept ringing constantly, and the kitchen door kept banging into the back of my dad's chair. We waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our food, and they never brought us our drinks. We ended up getting paper cups of water from the dispenser ourselves. I ordered the shrimp run dun, which was tasty, but definitely not worth the long wait. The other dishes were just average. It's a local spot, and they can keep it.

I’ve convinced the waitstaff that I’m a diplomat by spinning some stories about diplomatic immunity—whatever that really means. The local rum has probably helped with my storytelling too! Meanwhile, I’m indulging in delicious oxtails and curried goat at the beach, getting a bit lazy and a lot fuller. I had a great time at this restaurant during my visit to the Cayman Islands a few weeks ago. Thursday night is karaoke night, and it was a lot of fun. They have a nice selection of beers, and I chose the local Caybrew, which was perfect for the Caribbean vibes. I can't wait to go back!

We wanted local food but this was not it. Drinks were horrible and the food was not great. Don't waste ur time.

Great local eatery. Recommended by the lady worked at car rental. She gets lunch from there. This was our first stop because it's so close to the airport, perfect for a hungry stomach after a flight. Mainly serves meat dishes. Hearty but very tasty! So much spices. Portion is generous for 12dollars. Seats are shaded outdoor with a bar area. Very local and chillaxing. Just grab a menu and sit down.
