Old Townhouse - George

Absolutely amazing food. Steaks cooked to perfection. Vegetables were great too. Atmosphere is intimate classic and welcoming and helped us on a very short notice. A must if you are in George!

This is a regular for my family in all our annual visits to the garden route and it has never been a disappointment to us! Everyone is guaranteed an enjoyable, hearty and delicious meal and leave with a happy, satisfied smile. Reasonable prices and generous portions, this is a restaurant you have to visit when in George. Janet's ice creams are to die for, a definite dessert to have to end off your meal.

They were very accommodating with special requests. I had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back! Thank you for a fantastic evening!

We wete there at the recommendation of a local. Absolutely loved it. Steaks perfectly cooked. Atmosphere old school, but not tacky. Wine not overpriced. All in all a highly enjoyable evening.

The Old Townhouse is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in George. You are served exceptional food by outstanding waitstaff. The vegetables are delicious, and the steaks are equally impressive. And I can't forget to mention the desserts! They make ice cream on-site in flavors like peanut brittle, strawberry pavlova, lemon meringue, licorice, lemon and honey, and many more. Treat yourself and come enjoy a delightful experience!
