Cellar - Georgetown

Can you keep a secret? Best meal I have had from any restaurant in many years. Cozy atmosphere, great presentation, fantastic service, and the food was exceptional. This past week six of us celebrated my nieces 30th birthday. Everyone commented on the taste and quality of their meals and how enjoyable the experience was.The new chef has upped the level of taste for the restaurant as every was dish prepared, presented and served with care and would surpass most high end restaurants.We will definitely return. Thankyou “The Cellar” for the great memories.

I went there this past weekend with my Georgetown Honda co workers and want to report that the food and atmosphere was excellent. I had the salmon with Pistachio etc with potatoes and green beans and it was the best salmon dinner I've had in town. It's also nice to see that the restaurant is now owned and operated by a great local family that's been in the restaurant business for a life time. I will be back.

Overall disappointing and not worth the price.Steak sauce was way too salty and accompanying vegetables were pathetic. Gnocchi was served in a tomato sauce mixed with bitter vegetables that completely overpowered the subtle taste of the Gnocchi. The 'Caesar ' salad had radicchio and kale in it making it so bitter don 't call it a Caesar salad if it 's not. The 'chef ' clearly needs some training on how to combine foods and their flavors.The atmosphere the heating vents along the ceiling were covered in a thick layer of dust which may be an indication of cleanliness elsewhere.The only good thing about eating here was the service.

Had a great meal. The octopus appy was cooked perfectly. Looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for the great meal and service!!!

Arrived for reservation at 7 pm. Finally got food at 815 pm. Server was nice and polite. Kitchen slow.Food was not edible. Steak was shoe leather and not seasoning Fries soggy. Raviloi was swimming in some liquid. Ceasar salad was bitter. We didnt pay for mains as they were sent back. Horrible experience.
