De Churrascaria Pizzaria - Georgetown

This is my favorite Brazilian restaurant! I’m seldom let down, though there have been a few instances where the roasted meat, particularly the beef and pork, didn’t meet my expectations (they're usually tender and flavorful). The dining experience is outdoors, featuring a buffet-style service with the roasted meats in view—this is the main reason I keep coming back. The servers are always friendly and efficient. I've been visiting this place for over 12 years, so it feels like family to me!

UPDATE 11/1/22: I'm still feeling unwell on day five. I'm flying back to the States for medical care. UPDATE 12/9/22: I found out I picked up two different types of E. Coli and Cryptosporidium, likely from eating the salad, which was probably washed with local water. I'm feeling better now, but I did have some other minor complications that should resolve soon. I strongly advise staying away from this restaurant!

I ate them 3x twice in 2011 and once in 2014. This is really good authentic Brazilian cuisine. I miss Guyana so much that I miss this Brazilian restaurant. Please note that guyana is a development nation and may not have the same restaurant quality as the United States and Brazil.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. It’s an outdoor setting and doesn’t have air conditioning. I tried several items from the buffet, and everything was quite good. The all-you-can-eat option was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable as well.

I eat regularly here! It is a taste of Brazil, even without traveling to Guyana's border. I'm a meat lover, so grilled beef and pork are my must-haves. Every visitor to Guyana I have inaugurated here wants to return again and again.
